Airedale Terrier: what you need to know
The Airedale Terrier takes its name from the valley through which the River Aire flows, in Yorkshire. It is an English breed that, in recent years, has also taken hold in Italy, thanks to a not too intrusive measure and an innate sympathy.
It is a characteristic looking dog, very sociable, almost funny. Like many of its fellow countrymen it is a breed devoted to hunting, but which lives peacefully with its owner in an apartment.
In Italy there are only 7 farms recognized by Enci for this breed, and among them we contacted Giulio Audisio di Somma, from the “ Iulius “, who among his many commitments (he is a veterinarian as well as a breeder) has kindly agreed to answer our questions.
The result is the interview that you can read below!
